We finally have 2 new additions to our little flock. 2 rare yellow Gouldians finches. They are still young and coloring up. They are perky and seem to be always softly singing. Gouldians finches are not known for  complex vocals but they make up for it with their beauty. We are designing  a funky, colorful Mexican style aviary.  Tin roof, painted wood accented with bottlecaps and found objects. Can't wait! But just another project on my husband's ' honey do' list. So I am not holding my breath.
